Multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, producer, and educator.

Will starting touring professionally at an early age that featured multiple tours to Scotland. During those formative years he also appeared on From The Top produced by WGBH in Boston and has been featured in musical textbooks. Following those early experiences, Will joined the Celtic rock band Seven Nations touring with them for 10 years. Seven Nations was one of the first US based Celtic rock bands and has toured extensively playing festivals, sold out venues, the winter olympics in Salt Lake, and with regional symphony orchestras among many other performances throughout the US and abroad. In addition, Will toured with Nashville based singer Dakota Bradley as part of the High School Nations Tour across America.

Will continues to tour nationally and internationally with The StepCrew and The Ashley Davis. Will has toured extensively with the Ashley Davis Band across the US and in China as well. Also, Will has the honor of joining the Chieftains in their sold out shows all across North America. The Chieftains were formed in Dublin in 1962 and have been credited with bringing traditional Irish music to a worldwide audience so much so that the Irish government awarded them the title of “Ireland’s Musical Ambassadors.” Their renown includes a total of 6 Grammy Awards.

Will attended Belmont University in Nashville and earned a degree in Sound Recording Engineering all the while touring with Seven Nations. Will recorded and produced his first solo album, Glen Echo, while playing all the instruments on the album. Will has co-written, recorded, mixed and/or produced a number of prominent players including Ashely Davis, Kirk McLeod with Seven Nations, Lenny Pey, EJ Jones and others.

After completing a Masters in Liberal Arts at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Will began his college teaching career. He currently is the Head of the Entertainment Technology Program at Northeast State Community College in Blountville, TN. Students can earn certificates in recording, live sound, and lighting. The intent in the near future is to add certifications in video production as well. In addition to his full time position and continued touring, Will serves as an adjunct instructor in East Tennessee State University’s Bluegrass, Old Time, Celtic, and Country Music Studies Program where he coaches Celtic bands and provides individual instruction on a variety of Celtic instruments.Will was the musical engineer and producer of the documentary The Breaks: Centuries of Struggle narrated by Dirtiest Jobs host Mike Rowe.
